Rabid Dogs Reported In France - we’re in trouble
Heaven help those who line up next to us on the start-line of that first race in Palma. We’ve already bottled up a week’s worth of anger and frustration. We’re like caged animals ready to be unleashed on their unsuspecting pray. Yesterday we were even mentioned in the French Press.
We were supposed to leave St Chely yesterday. But that didn’t happen. We were told ‘demain’… again.
So we were supposed to leave this morning… but Ford ’forgot’ to send our refurbished gearbox back to the garage. We were told ”demain l’apres midi”, again.
Tomorrow we will have been here 11 days.
Now, alas, it is snowing. And it is the sort of snowfall that lights up your eyes in the morning if you are on a skiing holiday. Maybe it’s time to change sport and edit the name of our blog to Vancouver 2010. When If our van doesn’t get fixed in the next 24 hours, we are going to be snowed in.
Today’s stats:
- Snowfall while writing this post : 2 inches
- Number of unwatched DVDs from our 3-month collection: 4
- Chance of ever leaving St Chely d’Apcher: 8/10
- The one thing stopping Jonny from mutating into a rabid dog: Altantis
